Coordinating a pilot national campaign for Australia’s 56 regional bodies

We worked with communication officers from across Australia’s 56 regional natural resource management bodies to pull together a very low cost campaign. The campaign had a number of aims – to trial a collaborative approach to national communication activities, and to promote Australian Government investment in natural resource management. We facilitated meetings, documented ideas, pulled together strategies, built consensus, coordinated videos, managed social media, wrote media releases, liaised with CEOs and Chairs and kept Australian Government staff engaged in the project.

Across Australia in just one year, those 56 regions have helped farmers improve land management over 2 million hectares of land, and have worked with volunteers to protect and enhance 16,000km of waterways and coastlines.

That’s a very big backyard being cared for by a lot of people.
